At the time of the 2010 Census, Goodrich had a population of 98 people (or 7.42% of the total population of Sheridan County). This makes Goodrich the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Goodrich represents 0.01% of the total population of North Dakota (which has 672,591 people), making it the state's 275th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 98 people, the population of Goodrich decreased 39.88% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 163 people).

We originally found mention of Goodrich in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Goodrich was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Goodrich post office opened in 1902.

We also found Goodrich on a map titled Rand McNally Map of North Dakota (1937).
