Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cayuga had an population of 26 people. This is a decrease of 3.7% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 57.38% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cayuga had a population of 27 people. This makes Cayuga the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 27 people, the population of Cayuga decreased 55.74% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 61 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cayuga was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Cayuga post office opened in 1887.

We also found Cayuga in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
