At the time of the 2010 Census, Brocket had a population of 57 people. This makes Brocket the county's 5th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 57 people, the population of Brocket decreased 12.31% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 65 people).

We originally found mention of Brocket in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Brocket was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Brocket post office opened in 1901.

We also found Brocket on a map titled Rand McNally Map of North Dakota (1937).
