From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Robbins was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Robbins post office opened in 1943.

We also found Robbins on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for North Carolina (1956).
