Time Zone: Oromocto lies in the Atlantic Time Zone (AST/ADT) and observes daylight saving time.
We searched for American and Canadian communities that also have the name of Oromocto, but it seems to be unique to this community.
At the time of the 2006 StatCan Census, Oromocto had a population of 8,402 people<2>. This is a decrease of 4.99% since the previous Census (with 8,843 people in 2001).
