Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Livingston had an population of 7,804 people. This is an increase of 10.79% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 13.91% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Livingston had a population of 7,044 people (or 45.05% of the total population of Park County). This makes Livingston the county's most populous community.

The population of Livingston represents 0.71% of the population of Montana (which has 989,415 people), making it the state's 12th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 7,044 people, the population of Livingston increased 2.82% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 6,851 people).
