At the time of the 2010 Census, Como had a population of 1,279 people. This makes Como the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Como represents 0.04% of the population of Mississippi (which has 2,967,297 people), making it the state's 142nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,279 people, the population of Como decreased 2.37% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,310 people).
