At the time of the 2010 Census, Ozark had a population of 17,820 people (or 23.02% of the total population of Christian County). This makes Ozark the county's 2nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 17,820 people, the population of Ozark increased 84.38% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 9,665 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ozark was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Ozark post office opened in 1840.
