Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ramsey had an population of 27,778 people. This is an increase of 17.37% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 50.07% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ramsey had a population of 23,668 people (or 7.15% of the total population of Anoka County). This makes Ramsey the county's 5th most populous community.

The population of Ramsey represents 0.45% of the total population of Minnesota (which has 5,303,925 people), making it the state's 40th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 23,668 people, the population of Ramsey increased 27.87% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 18,510 people).
