Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Many had an population of 2,687 people. This is a decrease of 5.82% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 6.99% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Many had a population of 2,853 people (which is 11.77% of the total population of Sabine Parish). This makes Many the parish's most populous community.

The population of Many represents 0.06% of the population of Louisiana (which has 4,533,372 people), making it the state's 100th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 2,853 people, the population of Many decreased 1.25% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 2,889 people).

We originally found mention of Many in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Many was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Many post office opened in 1880.

We also found Many in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
