With a 2010 count of 92 people, the population of Willard increased 6.98% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 86 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Willard was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Willard post office opened in 1887.

We also found Willard in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
