Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Clearwater had an population of 2,557 people. This is an increase of 3.06% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 17.4% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Clearwater had a population of 2,481 people. This makes Clearwater the county's 10th most populous community.

The population of Clearwater represents 0.09% of the total population of Kansas (which has 2,853,118 people), making it the state's 105th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 2,481 people, the population of Clearwater increased 13.91% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 2,178 people).
