Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cicero had an population of 80,692 people. This is a decrease of 3.81% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 5.75% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cicero had a population of 83,891 people. This makes Cicero the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Cicero represents 0.65% of the total population of Illinois (which has 12,830,632 people), making it the state's 10th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 83,891 people, the population of Cicero decreased 2.01% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 85,616 people).
