While we don't have a date for the founding of Minidoka, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Minidoka has a population of 113 people<3> (see below for details).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Minidoka had a population of 112 people. This makes Minidoka the county's 5th most populous community.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Minidoka was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Minidoka mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
