At the time of the 2010 Census, Hailey had a population of 7,960 people (or 37.24% of the total population of Blaine County). This makes Hailey the county's most populous community.
The population of Hailey represents 0.51% of the total population of Idaho (which has 1,567,582 people), making it the state's 23rd most populous community.
With a 2010 count of 7,960 people, the population of Hailey increased 28.39% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 6,200 people).
