Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Driggs had an population of 1,803 people. This is an increase of 8.61% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 63.91% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Driggs had a population of 1,660 people (which is 16.32% of the total population of Teton County). This makes Driggs the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Driggs represents 0.11% of the total population of Idaho (which has 1,567,582 people), making it the state's 64th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,660 people, the population of Driggs increased 50.91% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,100 people).

We originally found mention of Driggs in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Driggs was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Driggs post office opened in 1894.

We also found Driggs mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
