With a 2010 count of 939 people, the population of Cascade decreased 5.82% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 997 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cascade was mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (September 1924).
