At the time of the 2010 Census, Ammon had a population of 13,816 people (which is 13.25% of the total population of Bonneville County). This makes Ammon the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Ammon represents 0.88% of the total population of Idaho (which has 1,567,582 people), making it the state's 17th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 13,816 people, the population of Ammon increased 123.31% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 6,187 people).
