At the time of the 2010 Census, Urbana had a population of 1,458 people (which is 5.59% of the total population of Benton County). This makes Urbana the county's 5th most populous community. The population of Urbana represents 0.05% of the population of Iowa (which has 3,046,355 people), making it the state's 210th most populous community.
