Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Rowan had an population of 162 people. This is an increase of 2.53% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 25.69% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Rowan had a population of 158 people. This makes Rowan the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 158 people, the population of Rowan decreased 27.52% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 218 people).
