At the time of the 2010 Census, Cedar Rapids had a population of 126,326 people (which is 59.81% of the total population of Linn County). This makes Cedar Rapids the county's most populous community.

The population of Cedar Rapids represents 4.15% of the total population of Iowa (which has 3,046,355 people), making it the state's 2nd most populous community.
