The location of Zirkle has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Zirkle, you might consider that their post office opened in 1909. While the community is gone, the present day location for Zirkle is 50 feet [15 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Zirkle was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Zirkle still existed, it would have been in the (912) area code.
