While we don't have a date for the founding of Marble, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1890.

The town was incorporated in 1899.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Marble has a population of 139 people<3> (see below for details).

Marble is 8,010 feet [2,441 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Marble is about 1½ mile [or ~2½ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: Marble lies in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Marble had an population of 139 people. This is an increase of 6.11% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 32.38% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Marble had a population of 131 people. This makes Marble the county's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 131 people, the population of Marble increased 24.76% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 105 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Marble was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Marble post office opened in 1890.

We also found Marble in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
