Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Loveland had an population of 83,168 people. This is an increase of 24.39% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 64.34% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Loveland had a population of 66,859 people (which is 22.31% of the total population of Larimer County). This makes Loveland the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Loveland represents 1.33% of the population of Colorado (which has 5,029,196 people), making it the state's 14th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 66,859 people, the population of Loveland increased 32.11% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 50,608 people).
