Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Lodi had an population of 67,372 people. This is an increase of 8.43% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 18.2% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Lodi had a population of 62,134 people (which is 9.07% of the total population of San Joaquin County). This makes Lodi the county's 4th most populous community.

The population of Lodi represents 0.17% of the population of California (which has 37,253,956 people), making it the state's 135th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 62,134 people, the population of Lodi increased 9.01% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 56,999 people).
