Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Guadalupe had an population of 7,811 people. This is an increase of 10.32% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 38.03% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Guadalupe had a population of 7,080 people. This makes Guadalupe the county's 6th most populous community.

The population of Guadalupe represents 0.02% of the total population of California (which has 37,253,956 people), making it the state's 403rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 7,080 people, the population of Guadalupe increased 25.11% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 5,659 people).
