Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Davis had an population of 69,274 people. This is an increase of 5.57% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 14.87% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Davis had a population of 65,622 people (or 32.67% of the total population of Yolo County). This makes Davis the county's most populous community.

The population of Davis represents 0.18% of the population of California (which has 37,253,956 people), making it the state's 122nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 65,622 people, the population of Davis increased 8.81% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 60,308 people).
