At the time of the 2010 Census, Crescent City had a population of 7,643 people (or 26.71% of the total population of Del Norte County). This makes Crescent City the county's most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 7,643 people, the population of Crescent City increased 90.79% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 4,006 people).
