Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Snowflake had an population of 5,976 people. This is an increase of 6.91% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 33.99% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Snowflake had a population of 5,590 people (which is 5.2% of the total population of Navajo County). This makes Snowflake the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Snowflake represents 0.09% of the population of Arizona (which has 6,392,017 people), making it the state's 53rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 5,590 people, the population of Snowflake increased 25.34% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 4,460 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Snowflake was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Snowflake post office opened in 1881.
