Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Parker had an population of 3,229 people. This is an increase of 4.74% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 2.83% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Parker had a population of 3,083 people (which is 15.05% of the total population of La Paz County). This makes Parker the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Parker represents 0.05% of the total population of Arizona (which has 6,392,017 people), making it the state's 72nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,083 people, the population of Parker decreased 1.82% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 3,140 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Parker was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Parker post office opened in 1871.
