At the time of the 2010 Census, Oro Valley had a population of 41,011 people. This makes Oro Valley the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Oro Valley represents 0.64% of the population of Arizona (which has 6,392,017 people), making it the state's 20th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 41,011 people, the population of Oro Valley increased 38.08% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 29,700 people).
