Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Springdale had an population of 81,306 people. This is an increase of 16.49% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 77.53% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Springdale had a population of 69,797 people (or 34.37% of the total population of Washington County). This makes Springdale the county's most populous community.

The population of Springdale represents 2.39% of the population of Arkansas (which has 2,915,918 people), making it the state's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 69,797 people, the population of Springdale increased 52.4% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 45,798 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Springdale was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Springdale post office opened in 1872.

We also found Springdale in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
